Troubleshooting Recommendations:

CAUTION: Do not do electrical checks into the Engine Electronic Controller (EEC). If you do not obey this instruction, damage to the EEC can occur.

  1. Perform a deactivation of the thrust reverser and opne the cowl.
  2. Get access to the left engine inboard thermocouple.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors P1047 and P1032 and perform wiring checks between connectors P1047 and P1032.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and go to step 7.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  4. Disconnect the terminals TB2208, P1032 and TB2206 and perform wiring checks between terminals TB2208, P1032 and TB2206.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and go to step 7.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  5. Examine the interface wiring, terminals and connectors for damage between the T30 terminal block and P1044.
NOTE: Look specially for signs of chafing at clip locations, the condition of connector pins, and for kinks or strains in the wiring.

    1. If system checks are good, replace T30 thermocouple and go to step 7.
    2. If fault message stays active, continue with next step.

  6. Replace the Right EEC.
  7. Close the cowls and activate the thrust reverser.
  8. Do close out.
