Message Description:
This message is set when there is a failure of the aircraft 28 VDC power supply to channel A of the Engine Electronic Controller (EEC). The 28 VDC is supplied by the aircraft BATT BUS. These circuits are monitored by the Full-Authority Digital Engine-Controller (FADEC) when power is applied or the engine is started.
Possible Causes:
- Left Engine Electronic Controller (EEC)
- Secondary Power Distribution Assembly (SPDA) 2 (A14)
- Associated Wiring

NOTE: The airframe supplies 28 VDC power from the BATT BUS to each EEC CH. This is used by the EEC as main power supply during ground maintenance, engine starting and back-up power supply with the engine running. Primary control system power is provided by the engine AGB mounted DedGen that provides full system power at N2 speeds above 35%.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Perform troubleshooting for BATT BUS.
- If BATT BUS is not satisfactory, repair as required and do close out.
- If BATT BUS is satisfactory, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring checks between P1045 and 1PA2.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace Left EEC.
- Do close out.
