Fault Description:
This message shows when the P20 signal of total pressure sent by the Aircraft is defective. The signal is sent to channel A of the Engine Electronic Controller (EEC) by the Micro Air-Data Computer (MADC) 1 or MADC 2. These circuits are continuously monitored by the Full-Authority Digital Engine-Controller (FADEC).
The fault message CAIMS-L (R) CH A AIR DATA COMPUTER P20 RNG MA could also show. This will be set as a result of MADC to MADC data cross check by air data selection.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Check if the CAIMS fault message R CH B AIR DATA COMPUTER P20 RNG MA is present.
- If the fault message exists, replace MADC 1 and do close out.
- If the fault message does not exists, continue with next step.
- Perform the visual check of the engine controlling system.
- If there is a damage, repair as required and do close out.
- If there is no damage, continue with next step.
- Check if the CAIMS fault message R CH B AIR DATA COMPUTER P20 RNG MA is present. Is the fault still active?
- If YES, replace right EEC and do close out.
- If NO, continue with next step.
- Check if the CAIMS fault message R CH A AIR DATA COMPUTER P20 RNG MA is present. Is the fault still active?
- If NO, do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace MADC 2.
- Do close out.
