Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Perform a visual inspection of the associated wiring, terminals and connectors for damage between EVMU (A42BP1) and N2 speed probes (P713).
NOTE: Look specially for signs of chafing adjacent to clip locations, condition of connector pins and wiring that is kinked or strained.

    1. If there is damage, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is no damage, continue with next step.

  2. Perform a continuity check as follow:

    From To Result
    P713-1 2PB2-15
    P713-2 2PB2-16
    2JB2-15 P608-e
    2JB2-16 P608-f
    J608-e J322-52
    J608-f J322-53
    P322-52 A42BP1-C3
    P322-53 A42BP1-D3

    1. If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with next step.

  3. Check if the insulation resistance between the connectors as follows:

    From To Expected Result Result
    P713-1 Ground ≥20 ΜΩ
    P713-2 Ground ≥20 ΜΩ
    P608-e Ground ≥20 ΜΩ
    P608-f Ground ≥20 ΜΩ
    J322-53 Ground ≥20 ΜΩ
    J322-52 Ground ≥20 ΜΩ
    A42BP1-C3 Ground ≥20 ΜΩ
    A42BP1-D3 Ground ≥20 ΜΩ

    1. If the resistance value is out of limit, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If the resistance value is within limit, continue with the next step.

  4. Replace the EVMU.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  5. Replace the N2 Speed Probe.
  6. Do close out.
