Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Fault Description:

Left Engine Thrust Reverser (TR) Lower Door Right Stow Switch indicates that the door is not fully stowed when the TR is commanded stowed.

Possible Causes:

  • Door Stow Switch
  • Primary Lock Actuator
  • Left Engine Electronic Controller (EEC)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Check door rigging, including distortion, debris or damage around the TR door.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step

  2. Check primary lock actuator and mechanism for sign of corrosion or binding.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step

  3. Perform a continuity check on door stow switch. Shall have continuity when TR door is closed.

    P7010-1 P7010-2

    1. If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with next step.

  4. Perform wiring checks between door stow switch and EEC.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  5. Replace Left EEC.
  6. Do close out.
