Troubleshooting Recommendations:

CAUTION: DO NOT DO ELECTRICAL CHECKS INTO THE ENGINE ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER (EEC). IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, DAMAGE TO THE EEC CAN OCCUR.

  1. Perform a visual inspection of the interface wiring and connectors for damage between the connectors L44P1 and P1043.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  2. Perform wiring checks between ICU (L44P1) and Fixed Cowl Interface (2JA2).

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  3. Perform wiring checks between Bypass Disconnect (P1116) and Fixed Cowl Interface (2PA2).

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  4. Perform wiring checks between Bypass Disconnect (J1116) and Right EEC (P1043).

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  5. Perform a check of the insulation resistance of the interface connectors ICU (L44P1), Bypass Disconnect (P1116) and EEC (P1043).

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  6. Swap Right EEC with Left EEC.

    1. If system checks are good, replace Right EEC and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  7. Replace ICU.
  8. Do close out.
