Fault Description:
A Starter Air Valve (SAV) Micro-Switch position indication disagreement has been detected by the Engine Electronic Controller (EEC) Channel B. The Micro-Switch position does not agree with the SAV open/close command.
Possible Causes:
- Left Starter Air Valve (SAV) Micro-Switch
- Left Engine Electronic Controller (EEC)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Perform a continuity check for the Left SAV Micro-Switch Contact.
- If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring checks between Left SAV micro-switch and the Left EEC.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Swap Left SAV with Right SAV.
- If system checks are good, replace Left SAV and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace Left EEC.
- Do close out.
