Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. On the EMS CDU, push on the “STAT” button. Inspect the Status page. Check if any virtual CB(s) is (are) tripped.

    1. If NO, go to step 3.
    2. If YES, locate the virtual CB that tripped, record the exactly circuit breaker(s) name for future reference and continue with next step.

  2. Physically disconnect the affected unit(s) powered by the SSPC (refer to System Schematic Manual 24-62-05). Set the tripped circuit breaker back in. Check if the CB stay in or not.

    1. If YES, replace the defective unit and do close out.
    2. If NO, continue with next step.

  3. Perform a continuity check between the affected SPDA output and the unit. Make sure you check for short circuits to ground and short circuits between the power and return.

    1. If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with next step.

  4. Replace affected SPDA. In the MRA, mention the complete list of circuit breakers that were recorded in step 1.
  5. Do close out.
