Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Check if the aileron control system is disconnected, and there is a jammed side.

    1. If the aileron control system is serviceable, do close out.
    2. If the aileron control system is not serviceable, continue with next step.

  2. Perform the detailed inspection of the following flight control cables in:

    • the flight compartment (FS202.75 to FS280.00)
    • the forward avionics compartment (FS202.75 to FS280.00)
    • the main avionics compartment (FS280.00 to FS557.00)
    • the mid-lower fuselage compartment (FS557.00 to FS781.00)
    • the main landing gear (MLG) wheel well (FS719.30 to FS781.00)
    • the wing trailing edge (main landing gear (MLG) wheel well to WS536.00)
    • the outboard wing box (WS287.00 to WS536.50)

      1. If damage or defect is found, rectify or repair as required and do close out.
      2. If no damage or defect is found, continue with next step.

  3. Check if both aileron control wheel operations are satisfactory while disconnected.

    1. If YES, replace the roll disconnect mechanism.
    2. If NO, do close out.

  4. Check if the aileron control system is not disconnected.

    1. If the aileron control system is serviceable, do close out.
    2. If the aileron control system is not serviceable, continue with next step.
