Message Description:
The message FMQGC FAIL shows on the REFUEL/DEFUEL Control Panel (RDCP) when it cannot receive data from the Fuel Management and Quantity Gauging Computer (FMQGC).

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Access CAIMS active or stored faults and check if the following messages are displayed:
Name of Display Unit Fault Message (Active or Stored) CAIMS PMAT FMQGS COMPUTER CH A (B) LMS/WRG FAULT CAIMS PMAT FMQGS COMPUTER/WRG FAULT - If YES, perform the applicable troubleshooting in the SmartFix Plus "Troubleshooting by CAIMS" section and do close out.
- If NO, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check for an open circuit between RDCP (A46P1) and FMQGC (A47EP1).

- If there is continuity, continue with the next step.
- Replace the FMQGC. Check if the FMQGC FAIL message show on the RDCP.
- If NO, do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace RDCP.
- Do close out.
