Message Description:
The fuel quantity is blank or dashed on the REFUEL/DEFUEL Control Panel (RDCP) or the Engine Indication and Crew Alerting System (EICAS) display. If the quantity gauging does not operate for one Fuel Tank, the quantity of Fuel in that Tank and the total quantity show dashes on the RDCP. If the fuel quantity gauging system does not operate, all quantities on the RDCP show dashes.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Check if one of the fault messages that follow appears on the CAIMS PMAT.
- If YES, perform the applicable troubleshooting and continue with next step.
- If NO, replace the FMQGC and continue with next step.
- Check if the fuel quantity show as blank or dashed on the RDCP.
- If NO, do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace the RDCP.
- Do close out.
