CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 3 is reporting Hydraulic System 3 pressure incorrectly, erratically or dashed.

Possible Causes:

  • Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 3 (A30)
  • Hydraulic System 3 Pressure Transducer (MT146)
  • Secondary Power Distribution Assembly (SPDA) 3 (A15)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Swap Hydraulic System 3 Pressure Transducer (MT146) with Hydraulic System 1 Pressure Transducer (MT140).

    1. If system checks are good, replace Hydraulic System 3 Pressure Transducer and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  2. Swap DAU 3 with DAU 4.

    1. If system checks are good, replace DAU 3 and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  3. Perform wiring check between DAU 3, Hydraulic Pressure Transducer 3 (MT146), and SPDA 3.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  4. Perform voltage check as follows:

    Hydraulic System 3
    Pressure Transducer    		 Expected Result
    MT146P1-D 28 VDC

    1. If there is 28 VDC, do close out.
    2. If there is no 28 VDC, continue with next step.

  5. Replace SPDA 3.
  6. Do close out.
