Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Release the pressure from hydraulic system 2.
  2. Disconnect the "PRESS" line at the No. 2 brake Shutoff Valve (SOV).
  3. Install a cap on the "PRESS" line at the No. 2 brake SOV.
  4. Pressurize hydraulic system 2.
  5. Shut down the source of hydraulic power.
  6. After 1 hour, does the pressure on the accumulator gauge decrease below 2090 psi (14,411 kPa) or below 1080 psi (7,447 kPa) after 2 hours?
NOTE: If the pressure decreases more than 50 psi (345 kPa) in two to four minutes, do not wait one hour and continue with next step.

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace the No. 2 brake SOV.

  7. Look for hydraulic fluid external leakage. Rectify as required.
  8. If no external leakage is found, replace the No. 2 Brake Accumulator.
  9. Do close out
