Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Release the pressure from hydraulic system 2.
- Disconnect the "PRESS" line at the No. 2 brake Shutoff Valve (SOV).
- Install a cap on the "PRESS" line at the No. 2 brake SOV.
- Pressurize hydraulic system 2.
- Shut down the source of hydraulic power.
- After 1 hour, does the pressure on the accumulator gauge decrease below 2090 psi (14,411 kPa) or below 1080 psi (7,447 kPa) after 2 hours?
NOTE: If the pressure decreases more than 50 psi (345 kPa) in two to four minutes, do not wait one hour and continue with next step.- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, replace the No. 2 brake SOV.
- Look for hydraulic fluid external leakage. Rectify as required.
- If no external leakage is found, replace the No. 2 Brake Accumulator.
- Do close out
