Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

There is no 28 VAC output from the Logo Lighting Transformer.

Possible Causes:

  • External Lights Control Panel (AP11)
  • Logo Lighting Transformer
  • Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Starter Contactor Assembly (ASCA) (A48)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Set the LOGO switch to ON.
  2. Perform a voltage check at the input of the ASCA at the connectors within APU starter-contactor assembly connector (A48P1) as follows:

    From To Expected Result Result
    A48P1-K A48P1-L 28 VDC

    1. If there is no voltage, repair or replace the defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is voltage, continue with next step.

  3. Replace the APU starter-contactor assembly.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  4. Perform a wiring check of the external lights control panel.

    1. If the wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  5. Replace the external lights control panel. Is the fault still present?

    1. If NO, do close out.
    2. If YES, continue with next step.

  6. Perform the troubleshooting for CAS Message listed below:
  7. Do close out.
