Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Set a different service light switch to on. Check if the compartment lights come on.
NOTE: This makes sure the switch is not the cause of the problem.- If YES, replace the defective light switch and do close out.
- If NO, continue with next step.
- Measure the voltage at the connections of DS32 as follows:
From To Expected Result Result SP731-1 Ground +28 VDC - If there is voltage, replace the bulb of the unserviceable nosewheel compartment light and do close out.
- If there is voltage and the light bulb was already replaced, replace the nosewheel light assembly and do close out.
- If there is no voltage, repair or replace the defective associated wiring and continue with next step.
- Is the fault still present?
- If NO, do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace the forward auto shutoff box.
- Do close out.
