Message Description:
Display Unit 2 or Display Unit 5 do not receive Weather Radar Receiver/Transmitter Antenna (RTA) video input (Electronic Flight-Instrument System (EFIS) Picture bus) with a "WX" green displayed in the Multi-Function Display (MFD) status window.
Possible Causes:
- Display Unit (DU) 2 (M8)
- Display Unit (DU) 5 (M11)
- Weather Radar Receiver/Transmitter and Antenna (RTA) (A125)

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Ensure that "WX" green displayed in the MFD status window and that the MFD page "MAP" supporting weather radar information is selected.
NOTE: The TEST mode can be selected to view weather video information on the DU. If only one DU is not showing information, focus the troubleshooting on that side.
NOTE: Swapping DUs is a quick way to evaluate if a DU is at fault. - On the CAIMS PMAT, get access to system diagnostics and perform IAC-EDS, IAC EDS/Core Test, WX-R/T P880 interface test following the set up instructions on the PMAT.
NOTE: Run this test on all FWC, If not associated to a specific CAIMS message to a particular FWC. - After each test is completed, look at the TEST RESULTS page and record the fault type 43XX and code XX.
- Perform IMT fault code look up procedure and follow the associated troubleshooting procedure.
- Do close out.
