Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

The Intermediate-Pressure Transducer output is not between 0.02 and 9.9 VDC.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector P734 on the intermediate-pressure transducer. Perform the voltage check as follows:

    From To Expected Result Result
    P734-A P734-B 28 VDC

    1. If the voltage is not as specified, go to step 4.
    2. If the voltage is as specified, continue with next step.

  2. Connect the electrical connector P734 to the intermediate-pressure transducer. Disconnect the electrical connector A69P1 from BMC 1. Perform the voltage check as follows:

    From To Expected Result Result
    A69P1-2 A69P1-3 0.02-9.9 VDC

    1. If the voltage is more than 9.9 VDC, replace the left intermediate-pressure transducer and do close out.
    2. If the voltage is less than 0.02 VDC, continue with next step.

  3. Disconnect the electrical connector P734 from the intermediate-pressure transducer. Perform a continuity check between the connectors Left IPT (P734) and BMC 1 (A69P1) as follows:

    From To Result
    P734-C A69P1-2
    P734-D A69P1-3

    1. If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and continue with next step.
    2. If there is continuity, replace the left intermediate-pressure transducer and continue with next step.

  4. Perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    P734-B GS263

    1. If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with next step.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connector P625. Perform the voltage check as follows:

    From To Result
    J625-D Ground

    1. If there is continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is no continuity, continue with next step.

  6. Disconnect the JB3 electrical connector JB3AP1. Perform a continuity check between J625 pin D and JB3AP1 pin 11C.

    From To Result
    J625-D JB3AP1-11C

    1. If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with next step.

  7. Replace the PCB2 in the junction box JB3.
  8. Do close out.
