Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Swap the GCU PCB9 with either of the engine GCU PCB9. Is the fault message still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace the defective GCU PCB9.

  2. Swap the Auxiliary Generator Power-Module PCB10 with the Right Generator Power Module PCB8 or the Left Generator Power Module PCB7. Is the fault message still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace the defective Generator Power-Module.

  3. Do wiring check of the following wires:

    From To Results
APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin L AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin JJ
    APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin M AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin z
    APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin H AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin D
    APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin J AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin d
    APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin K AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin E

    1. If wiring check is satisfactory, continue with next step.
    2. If wiring check is not satisfactory, repair the defective wire.

  4. Swap the APU Generator (G3) with one of the Main Generator (G1 or G2). Is the fault message still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace the defective Generator.

  5. Replace the AUX DCPC (A196).
