Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Was either the L FUEL RECIRC FAIL (Caution) or R FUEL RECIRC FAIL (Caution) CAS message displayed at the time the WING FUEL HI TEMP (Caution) CAS message was displayed?

    1. If YES, troubleshoot those messages first.
    2. If NO, continue with next step.
NOTE: Before performing the steps below make sure the aircraft has been allowed to reach ambient temperature inside a hangar.

  2. Using the PMAT, access CAIMS - SYSTEM DIAG - ATA 28 - FMQGC CH. A(B) - LRU TEST and select LEFT(RIGHT) WING FUEL TEMPERATURE.
  3. Compare and record the left and right wing temperature sensor readings on both FMQGC channels.

    TS2R 284466EPK
    TS3R 284466FPK

    1. If there is a sensor that is reading noticeably higher or lower compared to the other ones, troubleshoot using the related troubleshooting page in the table above.
    2. If all the temperature sensor values are similar to each other, continue with next step.

  4. Perform the Operational Test of the Thermal Management System (AMM 28-26-00-710-801).

    1. If the test results are satisfactory, continue with next step.
    2. If the test results are not satisfactory, troubleshoot accordingly and rectify.

  5. Rerack the FMQGC making sure it is fully and properly pushed in its tray. Is the WING FUEL HI TEMP (Caution) CAS message still present?

    1. If YES, replace the FMQGC and do close out.
    2. If NO, continue with next step.

  6. Do close out.
