AMBER MESSAGE (ADVISORY)
CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Fault Description:

Fwd Cabin Duct Temperature Sensor has been detected out of range by Air Conditioning System Controller (ACSC) 1 Channel A.

Possible Causes:

  • Duct Temperature Sensor 2 (E22)
  • Air Conditioning System Controller (ACSC) 1 (A87)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Access System Diagnostics and verify sensor data is valid and compare with other sensor.

    1. If data is valid, go to step 3.
    2. If data is not valid, continue with next step.

  2. Swap Duct Temperature Sensor 2 with Duct Temperature Sensor 1.

    1. If system checks are good, replace Duct Temperature Sensor 2 and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  3. Perform a wiring checks between Duct Temperature Sensor 2 and ACSC 1.

    1. If the wiring checks are not good, repair the defective associated wiring and do close out.
    2. If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  4. Replace ACSC 1.
  5. Do close out.
