CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Fault Description:

Cockpit Duct Temperature Sensor has been detected out of range by Air Conditioning System Controller (ACSC) 2 Channel A.

Possible Causes:

  • Cockpit Duct Temperature Sensor (E28)
  • Air Conditioning System Controller (ACSC) 2 (A88)
  • Associated Wiring

  • AW700-21-0160 - "PACK FAULT" CAS message while CAIMS / OMS is active (Global Express / XRS - 9002 to 9312, 9314 to 9380, 9384 to 9429 and Global 5000 - 9127 to 9383, 9389 to 9400, 9404 to 9431 and 9998)

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Check status of Duct Temp Sensor in CAIMS (CAIMS path: SYSTEM DIAG/21-00 AIR CONDITIONING/ACSC2A/LRU TEST/R ACSC CH. A TRIM & CABIN TEMP SENSOR DATA).
  2. Swap Cockpit Duct Temperature Sensors.

    1. If system checks are good, replace the defective Cockpit Duct Temperature Sensor and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  3. Perform wiring checks between Cockpit Duct Temperature Sensor and ACSC 2.

    1. If the wiring checks are not good, repair the defective associated wiring and do close out.
    2. If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  4. Replace ACSC 2.
  5. Do close out.
