CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Fault Description:

The right Recirculation Fan has been detected failed by the right Air Conditioning System Controller (ACSC).

Possible Causes:

  • Air Conditioning System Controller (ACSC) 2 (A88)
  • Recirculation Fan And Check Valve 2 (B21)
  • AC Power Center (ACPC) (A54)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Make sure the recirculation fan is not obstructed.
  2. Swap Recirculation Fan 2 with Recirculation Fan 1.

    1. If system checks are good, replace Recirculation Fan 2 and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  3. Swap ACSC 2 with ACSC 1.

    1. If system checks are good, replace ACSC 2 and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  4. Perform a wiring check between ACSC 2 and Right Recirculation Fan.

    1. If the wiring checks are not good, repair the defective associated wiring and do close out.
    2. If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  5. Perform a wiring check between Right Recirculation Fan and ACPC.

    1. If the wiring checks are not good, repair the defective associated wiring and do close out.
    2. If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  6. Replace ACPC.
  7. Do close out.
