Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Check that the circuit breaker for the Avionics Fan is "IN" on the EMSCDU AIRCOND/PRESS page 1.
- Make sure there is no obstruction in the Avionics Exhaust Fan. Make sure the Avionics Exhaust Fan is not making any abnormal noise that would indicate an Avionics Exhaust Fan deficiency. If any, perform the following:
- Remove FOD or replace Avionics Exhaust Fan as required.
- Perform wiring checks between ACSC 1 and the Avionics Exhaust Fan converter including the ground.
- Perform wiring checks between Avionics Exhaust Fan converter and Avionics Exhaust Fan including the ground.
- Perform wiring checks between Avionics Exhaust Fan converter and ACPC.
- Make sure the power from ACPC is received at the Avionics Exhaust Fan converter.
- If there is no power, continue with next step.
- If there is power, go to 8.
- Access the ACPC logic assembly. Remove SSPC card 15 and interchange with another SSPC card. Replace defective SSPC card if necessary. Is the fault still present?
- If NO, do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Interchange ACSC 1 with ACSC 2. Is the fault still present?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, replace defective ACSC.
- Replace Avionics Exhaust Fan converter. Is the fault still present?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, do close out.
- Replace Avionics Exhaust Fan.
- Do close out.
