Fault Description:
Variable Frequency Generator (VFG) 3 will not come on-line.
Possible Causes:
- Generator Control Unit (GCU) 3 (A58)
- Variable Frequency Generator (VFG) 3 (G3)

A GCU patch cable (GSE REF # 24X-24-02) can be used to swap GCUs 1, 4 and 5 into position 2 or 3 (for troubleshooting only).
The GCU NVMs can only be downloaded at position #2 or #3.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- At the VFG 3, perform a check of the output connections at the terminal block. Reconnect as required.
Connection Color T1 White T2 Blue T3 Orange G Green - If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- At the ACPC, perform a check of the VFG 3 output connection at the LCTA 3. Reconnect as required.
Connection Color T7 White T8 Blue T9 Orange - If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace GCU 3.
NOTE: Use PMAT to monitor the fault on GCU. - Do close out.
