WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Fault Description:

The DC Power Quality Monitor (DCPQM) has detected a Transformer Rectifier Unit (TRU) 2 over current while other TRUs are available and K4 is open and not failed.

The DCPQM has detected a TRU 2 current near zero while no other TRU power is available and K4 is ON.

Possible Causes:

  • DC Power Center (DCPC) Current Sensor (IS2)
  • DC Power Quality Monitor (DCPQM) 2
  • DC Power Center (DCPC) (A63)

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Access CAIMS active faults. Is CAIMS message 2460426DCP DCPC TLC4-TTC4 CONTACTOR-K4 FAILED posted?

    1. If YES, troubleshoot this message first.
    2. If NO, continue with next step.

  2. Access DCPC logic assembly. Swap DCPQM 2 with DCPQM 1. Is the fault resolved?

    1. If YES, replace DCPQM 2 and do close out.
    2. If NO, continue with next step.

  3. Replace current transducer IS2. Is the fault resolved?

    1. If YES, do close out.
    2. If NO, continue with next step.

  4. Replace DCPC.
  5. Do close out.
