Fault Description:
FLAPS/SLAT NOT ZERO discrete output from the Slat Flap Control Unit (SFCU) 2 is defective.
Possible Causes:
- Slat Flap Control Unit (SFCU) 2 (A95)
- Flight Control Unit (FCU) 2 (A66)
- Associated Wiring

The FCU provides a 28 V discrete signal to the SFCU. The SFCU grounds this signal when the flap system is in any position greater then 0.5 degrees. Performing a SLAT FLAP RESET on the EMS CDU may clear this fault.
NOTE: Wait at least one minute after SFCU reset to allow self test to run.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Swap SFCU 2 with SFCU 1.
- If system checks are good, replace SFCU 2 and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Remove SFCU 2 and verify 28 VDC on connector A95AP1-94.
- If 28 VDC is found, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If 28 VDC is not found, continue with next step.
- Perform a wiring check on interface wire that follows:
From To Result A95AP1-94 A66FP1-1 - If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace FCU 2 and reset FCUs latched faults.
- Do close out.
