Fault Description:
A Flight Control Module in Flight Control Unit (FCU) 1 does not receive power during the CAIMS Interface Test.
Possible Causes:
- Flight-Control Unit (FCU) 1 (A65)
- Secondary Power Distribution Assembly (SPDA) 2 (A14)
- Secondary Power Distribution Assembly (SPDA) 4 (A16)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Re-rack FCU 1.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Swap FCU 1 with FCU 2.
- If system checks are good, replace FCU 1. Reset FCUs latched faults and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Measure for 28 VDC at FCU 1 and confirm voltage is not fluctuating.
FCU 1 Expected Result Result A65CP1-11 28 VDC A65CP1-7 28 VDC A65FP1-11 28 VDC A65FP1-7 28 VDC - If checks are good, do close out.
- If any of the checks fails, continue with next step.
- Confirm/Measure steady 28 VDC from corresponding SPDA by removing pin from SPDA's connector as follows:

- If checks are good, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring checks between FCU and corresponding SPDA.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace defective SPDA.
- Do close out.
