Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Perform a visual inspection of the roll disconnect Assembly, make sure the reset piston to engage the roll disconnect mechanism is engaged.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  2. Hold the copilot handwheel and turn the pilot handwheel until the disconnect mechanism disengage. Re-engage the reset piston and confirm if the fault is still present.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  3. Perform open/short to ground checks at FCUs.

    1. If the checks are good, go to step 6.
    2. If any of the checks fails, continue with next step.
