Fault Description:
There is a problem with the Spoiler Control Lever. This fault has been detected by the Flight Control Unit 1
The difference between the 2 channels exceeds either:
- 8 deg with a confirmation delay of 600 ms or
- 3 deg with a confirmation delay of 1.5 s
Possible Causes:
- Flight Spoiler Control Lever (FSCL) (MT135)
- Flight Control Unit (FCU) 1 (A65)
- Associated Wiring

This fault may sometime be cleared by performing the flight control system reset procedure. If the message comes back more then once within 10 flight legs, troubleshooting is required.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Swap FCU 1 with FCU 2.
- If system checks are good, replace FCU 1. Reset FCUs latched faults and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring checks between FCU 1 to the Flight Spoiler Control Lever (MT135).
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace Flight Spoiler Control Lever.
- Do close out.
