Fault Description:
The Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 3 senses that the Position Transducer from the Left Aileron on CH A is out of range.
Possible Causes:
- Left Aileron Position Duel Rotary Variable Transducer (RVT) (MT61)
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 3 (A30)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Remove the DAU 3 to get access to the connector A30AP1 and left aileron position transducer to get access to the connector MT61P1. Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A30AP1-D7 MT61P1-4 A30AP1-E7 MT61P1-5 - If there is no continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A30AP1-D7 Ground A30AP1-E7 Ground - If there is continuity, repair or replace defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no continuity, continue with the next step.
- Swap DAU 3 with DAU 1. Is the fault still present?
- If NO, replace DAU 3 and do close out.
- If YES, continue with the next step.
- Replace the Left Aileron Position Transducer.
- Do close out.
