Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- The Brake Pedal Position Transducer LVDT outputs can be monitored in CAIMS on the BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM DATA PAGE 2 to assist troubleshooting.
- Examine copilot pedal brake position transducer for damage. Replace as required.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Perform continuity checks between pins of connectors MT60.
- If there is no continuity, go to step 5.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring checks between copilot pedal brake position transducer (MT60P1) and BCU.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace copilot pedal brake position transducer.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Perform rigging of the brake system.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace BCU.
- Do close out.
