Fault Description:
The Enhanced Vision System (EVS) Infrared Window (IRW) Heater overcurrent condition has been detected by the Enhanced Vision System Heater Controller (EVSHC).
Possible Causes:
- Enhanced Vision System (EVS) Infrared Window (IRW) Heater (A320)
- Enhanced Vision System Heater Controller (EVSHC) (A315)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Perform wiring checks for shorted to ground between EVSHC and IRW as follow:
NOTE: Nominal resistance between heater terminals is 44.08 ±10%.From To Result A315P1-KK A320J1-C A315P1-BB A320J1-G (115 VAC RTN) - If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace IRW.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace EVSHC.
- Do close out.
