Message Description:
When a Wing Leading Edge Over Temperature condition is detected and the condition is not related to the Wing Anti-Ice Valve (WAIV).
Possible Causes:
- Bleed Management Controller (BMC) 1 (A69)
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 3 (A30)
- Wing Anti-Ice Valve (WAIV)
- Left Inboard Anti-Icing Temperature Sensor (E39)
- Left Outboard Anti-Icing Temperature Sensor (E38)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Perform wiring checks between Left INBD WAITS, Left OUTBD WAITS, DAU 3 and BMC 1.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Measure resistance of the INBD and OUTBD WAITS sensing elements. Resistance values are listed in the table below:

- If the measured resistance is same as the above table, continue with next step.
- Interchange DAU 3 with DAU 1.
- If system checks are good, replace DAU 3 and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace BMC 1.
- Do close out.
