Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Check if DIM/BRT rotary switch or a PBA toggle switch change the intensity of a group of integral lights.

    1. If DIM/BRT rotary switch or a PBA toggle switch does not change the intensity of a group of integral lights, go to step 5.
    2. If DIM/BRT rotary switch or a PBA toggle switch change the intensity of a group of integral lights, continue with next step.

  2. Perform the operational test of the COCKPIT LIGHTS (INTEGRAL) control panel.

    1. If the test is satisfactory, do close out.
    2. If the test is unsatisfactory, continue with next step.

  3. Disconnect the connectors (AP26P1 and AP26P2) from the control panel AP26. Perform a voltage check as follows:
For the L integral lights (28 VDC):

    From To Result
    AP26P1-11 AP26P1-12

For the CTR integral lights (28 VDC):

    From To Result
    AP26P1-9 AP26P1-10
    AP26P1-13 AP26P1-10
    AP26P1-14 AP26P1-10
    AP26P1-15 AP26P1-10

For the R integral lights (28 VDC):

    From To Result
    AP26P2-11 AP26P2-12

For the OVHD integral lights (28 VDC):

    From To Result
    AP26P2-9 AP26P2-10

For the CB integral lights (28 VDC):

    From To Result
    AP26P2-13 AP26P2-14

For the AREA lights (28 VDC):

    From To Result
    AP26P1-22 AP26P1-17

For the FLOOR and EYE REF lights (28 VDC):

    From To Result
    AP26P2-22 GROUND

    1. If there is voltage, go step 5.
    2. If there is no voltage, continue with next step.

  4. Perform a continuity check at the connectors as follows:
    For the MASTER switch:

    From To Result
    AP26P1-6 GROUND
    AP26P1-16 GROUND

    For the PBA switch:

    From To Result
    AP26P1-33 GROUND
    AP26P1-34 GROUND
    AP26P1-36 GROUND
    AP26P1-37 GROUND
    AP26P2-7 GROUND
    AP26P2-8 GROUND

    1. If there is continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is no continuity, continue with next step.

  5. Replace the COCKPIT LIGHTS (INTEGRAL) control panel.
  6. Connect the disconnected connectors to the integral light control panel (AP26).
  7. If the problem continues, perform the troubleshooting for CAS Message ELEC SYS FAIL (Amber) and ELEC SYS FAULT (Cyan).
  8. Do close out.
