Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Set the STROBE switch to ON.
  2. Perform a 28 VDC voltage check at the connectors on the left wing strobe-light power-supply (A141), right wing strobe-light power-supply (A142) and tail strobe-light power-supply (A127) as follows:

    From To Expected Result Result
    A141P1-A A141P1-B +28 VDC
    A142P1-A A142P1-B +28 VDC
    A127P1-A A127P1-B +28 VDC

    1. If there is no 28 VDC, repair or replace the defective wiring of the power supply as required and do close out.
    2. If there is 28 VDC, replace the applicable power-supply and continue with next step.

  3. Check if the problem is corrected.

    1. If problem is corrected, do close out.
    2. If problem is not corrected, repair or replace the wiring of the external lights control panel and continue with next step.

  4. Is the fault still present?

    1. If NO, do close out.
    2. If YES, continue with next step.

  5. Perform the troubleshooting for CAS Message ELEC SYS FAIL (Amber) and ELEC SYS FAULT (Cyan).
  6. Do close out.
