Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Remove the Auxiliary Generator Power-Module PCB10. Inspect the card and connector. If no damage is found, reinstall the card making sure it is fully and properly inserted into place. Is the fault still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, do close out.

  2. Swap the Auxiliary Generator Power-Module PCB10 with the Right Generator Power Module PCB8 or the Left Generator Power Module PCB7. Is the fault message still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace the defective Auxiliary Generator Power-Module.

  3. Swap the Auxiliary Generator Control-Unit PCB9 with the Right Generator Control Unit PCB6 or the Left Generator Control Unit PCB5. Is the fault message still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace the defective Auxiliary Generator Control-Unit.

  4. Do wiring check of the following wires:

    From To Result
    APU ECU conn. A39AP1 - pin 6A AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin L
APU ECU conn. A39AP1 - pin 7A Ground Stud GS4013
    APU ECU conn. A39BP1 - pin 1B AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin Y
    APU ECU conn. A39BP1 - pin 3B AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin S

    1. If wiring check is satisfying, continue with next step.
    2. If wiring check is not satisfying, repair the defective wire.

  5. Do wiring check of the following wires:

    From To Result
    APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin A AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin G
    APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin B AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin F
    APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin D AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin K
    APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin F AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin h
    APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin E AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin H
APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin G AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin AA
APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin L AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin JJ
    APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin M AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin z
    APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin H AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin D
    APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin J AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin d
    APU GEN conn. G3P1 - pin K AUX DCPC conn. A196P1 - pin E

    1. If wiring check is satisfying, continue with next step.
    2. If wiring check is not satisfying, repair the defective wire.

  6. Replace the Auxiliary Power Center Primary Logic PCB11. Is the fault message still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, do close out.

  7. Replace the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Is the fault message still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace the defective APU ECU.

  8. Replace the AUX DCPC. Is the fault message still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace the defective AUX DCPC.

  9. Replace the APU Generator.
