Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Initiate an IBIT from CPC1. (CPC1 is used for odd days. CPC2 is used for even days). If test passes with CPC1, Interchange CPC1 and CPC2. If problem follows, replace the defective LRU.
  2. Perform wiring checks between CPC1 (A21P1) and Outflow valve 1 (L8P1).

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective associated wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  3. Perform wiring checks between CPC 1 and the cockpit Pressurization Control Panel using SSM 21-31-00.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective associated wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  4. Using SSM 21-31-00, perform wiring checks on the cockpit Pressurization Control Panel side of connectors AP9J1 and AP9J2. Make sure to check Outflow Valve 1 pushbutton (SDS2), Dump Relay 1 (K1) and ALT Limit Relay 1 (K2) for proper operation.

    1. If defects are found, repair/replace defective component as required.
    2. If checks are good, continue with next step.

  5. Replace Outflow Valve 1.
  6. Do close out.
