Fault Description:
Flight Control Unit (FCU) 2 does not receive the FLAP NOT ZERO signal from the Slat/Flap Control Unit 2 (SFCU 2).
Possible Causes:
- Slat/Flap Control Unit (SFCU) 2 (A95)
- Flight Control Unit (FCU) 2 (A66)
- Associated Wiring

This fault may sometime be cleared by performing the flight control system reset procedure.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- If CAS message(s) or CAIMS fault(s) related to the Slat Control System is posted in addition to RUD LIMITER FAIL and SLAT/FLAP CTRL UNIT #2/WRG FAULT, troubleshoot the additional message(s) first.
- Swap SFCU 2 with SFCU 1.
- If system checks are good, replace SFCU 2 and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring checks between FCU 2 and SFCU 2.
From To Result A95AP1-94 A66FP1-1 - If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace FCU 2 and reset FCUs latched faults.
- Do close out.
