Fault Description:
Landing Gear Electronic Control Unit (LG ECU) has detected a failure with the NOSE GEAR DOWNLOCK B discrete output going to Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 2.
Possible Causes:
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 2 (A18)
- Landing Gear Electronic Control Unit (LG ECU) (A52)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Re-seat LGECU.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring check of NOSE GEAR DOWNLOCK B discrete output between LGECU connector (A52AP1) and DAU 2 connector (A18BP1) as follows:
From To Result A52AP1-B13 A18BP1-D15 - If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Swap DAU 2 with DAU 4.
- If system checks are good, replace DAU 2 and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace LGECU.
- Do close out.
