Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- With no hydraulic pressure on the aircraft and the NLG doors open, manually close the NLG up-lock by hand.
- Select Hydraulic system 3 pumps 3A or 3B ON and check if the NLG Up-Lock opened.
- If the NLG Up-Lock did not open, troubleshoot the Landing Gear Selector Valve 3 using the GEAR DISAGREE procedure and not selecting any CAIMS message.
- If the NLG Up-Lock opened, continue with next step.
- Set the NOSE STEER switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the SSV connector (L1P1). Perform a voltage check between L1P1-A, and L1P1-B (28±2 VDC).
- If voltage is present replace the SCU.
- If voltage is not present replace the SSV.
- Do close out.
