Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. With no hydraulic pressure on the aircraft and the NLG doors open, manually close the NLG up-lock by hand.
  2. Select Hydraulic system 3 pumps 3A or 3B ON and check if the NLG Up-Lock opened.

    1. If the NLG Up-Lock did not open, troubleshoot the Landing Gear Selector Valve 3 using the GEAR DISAGREE procedure and not selecting any CAIMS message.
    2. If the NLG Up-Lock opened, continue with next step.

  3. Set the NOSE STEER switch to OFF.
  4. Disconnect the SSV connector (L1P1). Perform a voltage check between L1P1-A, and L1P1-B (28±2 VDC).

    1. If voltage is present replace the SCU.
    2. If voltage is not present replace the SSV.

  5. Do close out.
