Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Access and disconnect the EVS Heater Controller connector (A315P1) and the EVS Infrared Window connector (A320P1). Perform a wiring check as follows:
NOTE: Make sure to check for short circuit to ground and short circuit between wires.

    From To Result
    A315P1-KK A320J1-C
    A315P1-BB A320J1-G

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  2. Perform a resistance check of the Infrared Window Heater using the EVSHC Troubleshooting Table.
NOTE: Nominal resistance between heater terminals is 44.08 Ω ±10%.

    1. If the resistance value is out of range, replace the EVS Infrared Window (IRW) and do close out.
    2. If the resistance value is good, continue with next step.

  3. Replace the EVS Heater Controller (EVSHC).
  4. Do close out.
