Message Description:
The Glideslope cancel function of the Ground Proximity Warning-System (GPWS) is not operational. The aural warning "GLIDESLOPE" continues after the G/S WARN MUTED Switch on the Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning-System (EGPWS) Control Panel is set to ON.
Possible Causes:
- Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning-System (EGPWS) Control Panel (AP72)
- Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning-System (EGPWS) (A64)
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 2 (A18)
- Lamp Dimmer Power Supply (LDPS) 1 (A145)
- Associated Wiring
Troubleshooting Tips:
Advisory Wire/Service Bulletin: None

Normal operation of Flap override can be tested by going to the system diagnostics page and do the SELF TEST LEVEL 6 for the GPWS on PMAT (AMM TASK 45-45-00-970-804). The follows will happen:
- "LANDING FLAPS" will be heard from the flight compartment speakers when FLAP OVRD switch is set to ON
- "NOT LANDING FLAPS" will be heard when FLAP OVRD switch is set to OFF

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Remove the DAU 2 to get access to the connector A18AP1, electrical connector A145P1 from the lamp-dimmer power supply 1, EGPWS control panel connector (AP72P1) and GPWS computer connector (A64BP1). Perform a continuity check between the connectors that follows:
From To Result AP72P1-S A145P1-C AP72P1-T GS706 AP72P1-H A18AP1-A7 AP72P1-L A64BP1-D9 - If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- Install the DAU 2 and perform the operational test.
- If the operational test are not satisfactory, perform the troubleshooting for CAS message DAU 2A FAIL or DAU 2B FAIL and do close out.
- If the operational test are satisfactory, continue with next step.
- Connect the disconnected electrical connector A145P1 to the lamp-dimmer power supply 1. Perform the operational test of the lamp-dimmer power supply 1.
- If the operational test are not satisfactory, perform troubleshooting for Panel Integral Lighting and do close out.
- If the operational test are satisfactory, continue with next step.
- Connect the disconnected connector A64BP1 and perform the operational test of the GPWS computer.
- If the operational test are not satisfactory, perform the troubleshooting for CAS message GPWS SYSTEMS FAIL and do close out.
- If the operational test are satisfactory, continue with next step.
- Replace EGPWS control panel.
- Do close out.
