Message Description:
The Slat/Flap Control Unit (SFCU) does not receive input from the Left Wing Slat Resolver or the input is not in the permitted range.
Possible Causes:
- Left Slat Resolver (MT77)
- Slat/Flap Control Unit (SFCU) 1 (A124)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- On the EMS CDU, select CTRL function and SLAT/FLAP RESET. NOTE: Wait at least one minute after SFCU reset to allow self-test to run.
- Cycle the SLATs from IN/0 degrees to OUT/30 degrees. Is the fault still present?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, do close out.
- Swap SFCU1 with SFCU2.
- If system checks are good, replace SFCU 1 and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Move the SFCL to a different detent. Is the fault still present?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, do close out.
NOTE: SFCU 1 is the left side ( channel 1 ) controller. SFCU 2 is the right side (channel 2) controller.
- Perform a resistance check from the applicable resolver channel SFCU rack connector through the Left Slat resolver.

- If resistance is within range, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring check between the applicable SFCU rack connector and the Left SLAT resolver connector.
