Fault Description:
There is a problem with the Outboard Ground Spoiler Selector Valve (GSSV) Control by Flight Control Unit (FCU) 1. The Outboard Ground Spoilers will no longer deploy.
Possible Causes:
- Ground Spoiler Selector Valve (L41)
- Flight Control Unit (FCU) 1 (A65)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Swap FCU 1 with FCU 2. Apply power to the aircraft and turn on all three hydraulic systems to allow the FCUs to perform the SPOST Built-In Test. Is the fault still present on the same side?
- If NO, replace FCU 1 and do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring checks between FCU 1 and the outboard Ground Spoiler Selector Valve (L41).
- If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace the Ground Spoiler Selector Valve.
- Do close out.
