Fault Description:

The Right Bleed-Pressure Regulating and Shutoff Valve (PRV) is not at the required position to agree with the Bleed Management Controller (BMC) command. Inhibited during Take-off and Landing.

Possible Causes:

  • Right Bleed Pressure Regulating and Shutoff Valve (PRV)
  • Secondary-Power Distribution Assembly (SPDA) 3 (A15)
  • Bleed Management Controller (BMC) 2 (A70)
  • Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 4 (A31)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Swap the right PRSOV with the left PRSOV. Is the fault still present?

    1. If NO, replace right PRSOV and do close out.
    2. If YES, continue with next step.

  2. Perform a continuity check between the PRSOV (P707), BMC 2 (A70), SPDA 3 (A15) and DAU 4 (A31) as follows:

    From To Result
    P707-1 A15P3-H
    P707-2 Ground
    P706-1 A70P1-12
    P706-2 Ground
    P706-3 A31BP1-H14

    1. If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with next step.
NOTE: Remove all interface components for the short circuit to ground test on the wires that are not connected to a ground.

  3. Swap SPDA 3 with SPDA 1. Is the fault still present?

    1. If NO, replace SPDA 3 and do close out.
    2. If YES, continue with next step.

  4. Replace BMC 2.
  5. Do close out.
