There is a problem with the Flight Control Unit (FCU) 2 or the related interface wiring.

This fault could be related to a real issue with the flight control system but not related to a faulty flight control unit. The flight control unit command and monitoring lane within each channel are sometime not able to confirm a fault at the same time related to the flight control system. In this condition a single or many CAS messages will be posted and require troubleshooting. This fault may sometime be cleared by performing the flight control system reset procedure. If the fault clears, Swap FCU positions.

1. Perform a self test of FCU to confirm that the fault remains the same.

   1. If system checks are good, do close out.
   2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

2. Swap FCU 2 with FCU 1.

   1. If system checks are good, replace FCU 2. Reset FCUs latched faults and do close out
   2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

3. Perform wiring checks within FCU 2 as follow:

   A66AP1-3K	A66AP1-8J

   1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
   2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

4. Perform a NVM download of both FCUs and contact the Bombardier Customer Response Center (CRC) for further troubleshooting.
5. Do close out.
