RED MESSAGE (CAUTION)
AMBER MESSAGE (ADVISORY)
CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Fault Description:

Aircraft Avionics Standard Communications Buses (ASCB) member system data through ASCB data that is usually transmitted on the primary and secondary ASCB is incorrect, is available on only one bus or is not available at all.

Possible Causes:

  • Right BAC Avionics Standard Communications Buses (ASCB) Isolation Coupler (A100)
  • Right PRI Avionics Standard Communications Buses (ASCB) Isolation Coupler (A236)

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. On the CAIMS PMAT, get access to system diagnostics and perform the IAC EDS/Core Test.
  2. After each test is completed, look for the TEST RESULTS page and record the fault type and code(s) for each IMT fault.
  3. Perform the IMT fault code look-up procedure to find the applicable troubleshooting procedures.
  4. Carry out troubleshooting procedures.
  5. Do close out.
